A Message from Dr. Richard Nahas
“Thank you for joining us for this special hands-on learning experience.
During these two days, we will explore a different way of understanding pain, injury and persistent dysfunction. You will learn to use palpation, movement, breath and awareness to identify and release hidden restrictions within fascia and sensitized nerves.
We will bring together concepts from neural therapy, manual medicine, osteopathy, acupuncture and the Seekers Method®—with an emphasis on practical techniques that can be incorporated into your own clinical approach.
This workshop is highly experiential. You will learn by observing, touching, moving, assessing and working directly with other participants.
I look forward to welcoming you to Fort Lauderdale.
Dr. Richard Nahas, MD
President, North American Academy of Neural Therapy Founder, the Seekers Method®
“This is not a conference. It’s not a lecture. This is a retreat”.
A Two-Day Immersion into Neural Therapy and Blockage-Based Care
You’ll be learning with your hands, your breath, and your body. You’ll be experiencing what release feels like, both in yourself and in others. And you’ll be gaining the tools to bring that experience to your clinical practice.
This Is an Active Experience
You’ll be learning in real time by observing, touching, moving, and listening. You’ll work in pairs and small groups. You’ll be guided closely by Dr. Nahas and the Seekers Method team. Whether you’re here to heal others or yourself—or both—this weekend will shift how you see the body, how you understand pain, and how you treat it.
What You Will Learn:
Blockage-based care
Understand how any tissue injury or trauma can result in a persistent wound that can contribute to chronic regional and systemic tension, inflammation and stress
Palpation techniques
Learn to find hidden lesions in tissue using light touch to elicit a cutaneous stress response in sensitized nerves
Assessment techniques
Develop a rapid assessment technique that you can use to identify joint pairs, including remote and contralateral pairs, which can enhance any spinal manipulation technique
Empower your team
Empower provider teams to build collaborative treatment programs that improve results by targeting these lesions
Deliver better outcomes
Augment any rehabilitation program with neural therapy injections, or a neural therapy approach without needles, including PRP and regenerative procedures
Stretching techniques
Use the Seekers Method®, an assisted stretching technique developed by Dr Nahas, to find and release restrictions in movement and touch, breath and awareness
