The Missing Link in Pain: A New Understanding of Healing

For over twenty years, my work has taken me from emergency rooms to remote clinics and, ultimately, to the leading edge of integrative pain care. Along the way, I began to see a recurring mystery—patients suffering from chronic pain despite flawless surgeries and evidence-based treatment.

This short video shares the story of how that mystery led me to uncover a hidden layer of dysfunction within the body’s fascial and neural networks. I call this discovery blockage-based care,an approach that identifies and treats subtle restrictions in fascia and nerve pathways that can silently maintain pain long after recovery should be complete.
